Bringing Veterans Home
Community Hope, in partnership with the NJ Department of Community Affairs and the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, is working to end veteran homelessness by strengthening support systems, providing rapid access to housing, and ensuring that homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
Eligibility:
- Veterans meeting the federal and/or state definition of Veteran, Service Members (reservists), and National Guard members experiencing homelessness in NJ
- Personalized Housing Solutions based on the veteran’s current housing status
Types of Assistance:
- Street Outreach
- Diversion
- Rapid Rehousing (within 30 days)
- Housing Navigation
- Emergency Shelter
- Regional Coordination
